OK kids, time to show how smart I are, again! And, to defeat the scourge of cancel culture, let me tell you that all it takes is one person (one nincompoop or one mendacious muthafuka) brave enough to talk shit from their privileged position and punch down on those who are different. Full disclosure (so you know I'm the real deal!), I've never read JK Rowling but I have heard of Harry fucking Potter. Anyway, as has been widely reported, this brave soul ‘defied’ a new Scottish (those pesky Highlanders!) hate speech law making it an offence to incite hatred on the basis of race, religion, transgender 🏳️⚧️ identity, sexual orientation, age or disability.
But what about free fucking speech? We refuse to bow down to those intolerant of our fucking intolerance! 🤯 Moi, talking shyte, as usual.
And what about real women? Huh? By omitting biological women — those who menstruate — the law doesn't protect us if it comes down to us or them! And that's not right! I mean, some rapists have self-identified as women to get into female gaols (a bit like saying all men are rapists, but, like, whatevva! I can put it out there and get lots of likes from the likes of Sky News).
Rowling has rightly said that without extra protection something very very bad will happen to already ‘marginalised’ middle class white women everywhere! AMIRITE!? And, seriously, if ranga sheilas of immense wealth and privilege can't exercise their right to free speech (without mention of the lived experiences of those subject to hateful abuse daily) what hope is there?
We firmly believe that it is journalism’s sacred duty to endanger the lives of as many trans people as possible. Mainstream media, shitting on trans 💩 because they can.
Now, what she said on Twitter X clearly doesn't meet the threshold required to equate to ‘incite hatred’ but I'll just (as usual 😂 lie because she, in fact, disproved her own argument and dismissed the concerns held by other conservative cunts criticising the law) and instead speciously suggest that the government would have looked like complete prats if they'd charged her after she so bravely 🫠 challenged them (despite the fact she actually didn't and that's why they didn't charge her). OK, so she took zero risk but that still makes her a fucking 🦸♂️ hero in my books! It's the fucking vibe! 🤙
If what I’ve written here qualifies as an offence under the terms of the new act [it does not], I look forward to being arrested when I return to the birthplace of the Scottish Enlightenment. JK Rowling, issuing a public, but utterly 🫗 empty ‘threat.’ 😉
Remembering that I get paid by the word 😂 I'll describe her meaningless, self-serving act of ‘public defiance’ as an important milestone in the death of the much maligned, ‘cancel culture’ 😌 which I'll, helpfully, define (the reactionary dogrooter's definition, that is, because, like ‘woke’, it's a term appropriated from African American actual culture). Then, ever so smugly (to obfuscate the obvious), I claim that it's an attack on someone's (i.e., some cunt's) behaviour — and might is right! AMIRITE!? 👍
I'll also claim that ‘cancel crowds hunt’ (using a triggering verb) the high and the low of society with equal 😹 enthusiasm (clearly, that's another lie but who cares what your fucking bus driver thinks!?) revelling in their power to punish people for ‘thought crimes’ and silence discussion (legitimising illegitimate arguments by invoking fears of authoritarianism) on any topic the ‘mob’ (that is, anyone who dares to complain about cunty behaviour) considers taboo (this is how we silence legitimate criticism and debate — just swap the words around to blame … wait for it … the left! 😱
I'll continue to diminish — trivialise — bad behaviour by claiming that it can affect the livelihood of powerful people (no dole queue for them!) and that's not 😎 kool. For example, I'll dismiss ‘blackface’ 👨🏿🦱 as a minor issue (despite its historical role in slavery and the oppression and disenfranchisement of millions of people of colour) not deserving of cancelling powerful rich cunts!
I'll also gloss over (my dishonesty is fucking boundless peeps) drop kick Moira Deeming speaking at an anti-trans ‘women's rights’ rally ‘interrupted’ by ‘uninvited’ neo-nazis (all without mention of her stance on the rape victims, she thinks, should reject abortion and turn to god and the church, instead).
Saving the most duplicitous for last but, I'll stoop so low as to say that fear of cancel culture was so pervasive during the Voice referendum campaign that ‘many’ (legitimising made-up numbers!) with ‘misgivings’ (i.e., racist objections) about the proposed constitutional amendment ‘feared’ saying what they felt publicly. Even senior legal practitioners refused to be quoted fearing they would be discriminated against by pro-Voice (i.e., morally and intellectually honest) judges and peers.
Cleverly, I'll then self-legitimise by conflating secret ballots with the reactionary result (needlessly pointing out that system's Ozstraaylian 🦘🇦🇺 origins). So, we're not racists but, rather, trailblazers! I'll top the entire thing off injecting the term ‘bullies’ and so we didn't reject a proposal to help bridge the gap but, rather, we stopped those nasty disadvantaged people from using intimidation and ‘ostracisation’ to get their wicked way! Yay! 🥂
Cancel culture works by creating a state of ‘pluralistic ignorance’ (it doesn't but who's gunna stop me dishonestly defining the term!? 🤣). We all hold different views but because it's only ‘safe’ (another trigger!) to utter one (factually correct i.e., true) view most people think they are alone in their (dishonest) ‘dissent’ (a term purloined from progressives!).
This ‘illusion’ (too much triggering is never enough!) can only be shattered when bullshiterers the brave say what they think, regardless of the consequences (even if there are none) like JK Rowling — who was not brave — but I'll still proffer her as the epitome of! 👍
What I'm really crapping 💩 on about is the conservative lag, a concept explaining where racism and other reactionary bedrocks come unstuck — eventually (but that doesn't serve my spurious drivel). So, (deliberately ignoring the reality that we — the reactionary ra-tards of the right — are ‘Putin’) I'll misappropriate shattering the illusion of support for Russia's president as an example (and nothing demonstrates my mendacity more clearly because Navalny was literally cancelled — murdered — by conservatives).
JK has had the same liberating effect … giving voice 🎤 to those concerned that activists are usurping the identity and spaces of biological women! She's made that ‘sayable’ by virtue of it being more frequently said! Cancel culture was not cancelled, but this is how it will end … destroyed by courageous 🤪 people, overcoming the fearful silence that benefits bullies. Aha 😂 aha 🤪 aha 😜 ha! Moi, outdoing my own dishonesty! 😧
As for bonny Scotland itself, prosecutors recorded almost 2,000 hate-crime charges relating to sexual identity in 2022-23 and 55 charges relating to transgender identity. But backlash to the new legislation has prompted far-right activists to flood police with hate-crime reports — almost 4,000 complaints were lodged in the new law’s first three days! 😝
Famous fuckwits Elon Musk and Bogan Joe Rogan also complained about the law. In typically ignorant loud-mouthed fashion, Rogan falsely (he lies as much as moi!) claimed it let police target comedians while the ‘free speech absolutist’ uber-creepy billionaire demonstrated a similar lack of comprehension.
They need me to explain it to them! Aha 😂 aha 🤪 aha 😜 aha 😝 aha 🤣 ha!
