And here we go again with a well-paid demonstration of my smarts … Europe has shifted right to the 🪖 right with Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Poland and Spain voting to send fascist delegates to the EU Parliament. And (so I can explain away the mistake) it’s not just those older voters who were blamed for Brexit in the UK but Europe’s youngsters voted fascist too. Democracy! AMIRITE!? 🍻
Shocked 🙀 French President Emmanuel Macron even called a national election! But it’s silly to be shocked because the ‘social problems’ that caused this significant shift to the right have been brewing for a long time (I'm validating conservative claptrap and completely ignoring how us good god-fearing white people have helped create the conditions requiring mass migrations and corresponding crises and — not to mention — the success we savour so much is based on our exploitation of the peoples now seeking refuge).
But, local hand-wringers (to belittle the genuinely concerned) have managed to ‘onshore’ the EU worry and declare Peter ‘dumndumerer’ Dutton our own Trump-like figure. The claim is ludicrous because he's a moderate on the scale of the latest EU elections (mendacious moral relativism, anyone?).
Canberra is not in the same pickle as Paris because Dutton has played the boogeyman when needed (obviously, this totally denies and excuses his racist reactionary dishonest dogrooting agenda because, really, he's doing Australia a favour because that's what heros do).
But ⚠️ beware because Australia can, with just a bit more effort, find itself where the EU is now. 😨
The first step would be for Australia’s ‘insulated’ classes (inferring honest people are somehow not affected by reality, protected by privilege, or are just better educated or smarter than moi 😠) to keep virtue-signalling on immigration. Virtue-signalling is (a reactionary term used to deny decency through denigration) when you telegraph your empathy on an issue to show others what a wonderful person you are (so you deserve being belittled so don't complain about policies that adversely affect those who are different).
Sometimes signallers really only want to say nice things. But signal services, virtuous ones included, reach far and wide. So yeah, any shift towards humanism should be rejected.
Just ask (to rewrite history) former chancellor Angela Merkel. When she announced that Germany would welcome refugees fleeing the Syrian war in 2015, Syrians gratefully streamed (like rampaging vermin) towards Germany but so did ‘a whole lot’ of unsavoury types (to use the standard dogrootering trope of every other reactionary ra-tard like DJ Trump — who's not an unsavoury type BTW) who then entered and overwhelmed the country. 😧
The lesson that we could learn is that virtue-signalling (being fair and decent) is precisely the wrong thing to do! On immigration policy, nations need to telegraph their meanness — growling menacingly so they can gentle their claws (fuck, how good's that?) when dealing with real cases of need (obviously, only a few but just so you know I'm not totally bereft of compassion).
The most effective and kindest 😆 immigration policy that Australia has maintained for any span of years was devised by alleged war criminal and fired (by his own electorate) former PM John ‘Coward’ Howard. To stop boat arrivals he made a ‘big deal’ of denying entry to vulnerable asylum-seekers and their yachts attempting to enter Australia.
We will decide who comes to this country and the circumstances in which they come. Craven conservative cunt 🌮 Jown ‘Coward’ Howard.
But, the ‘big deal’ was based on lies so I'll leave out the fact that he had to tap into the darkest recessess of Australia's racist psyche to succeed and win the upcoming election. His policies had little to do with Australian national interests — security or otherwise (culminating in the 2005 Cronulla riots).
The Indonesian fishing boat was overloaded with 433 mainly ethnic Hazara (who the Taliban believe are not muslims so it's OK to kill them) asylum-seekers from Afghanistan who were rescued by a Norwegian container ship — under direction of the Australian Maritime Safety Authority and international maritime law.
The issue created an international anti-virtue (anti-boat-people) signal — which reverberated around the world (no, it didn't, it created a chain of events that saw the C🪨al-ition government lie repeatedly in order to spread fear and loathing amongst Australians and hold onto power). Might is right!
Had Howard not put a hard stop on the increasing number of boat arrivals when he did, Australia might well be in the same situation as the EU now, voting for far-right (as opposed to simply right-wing) governments to try to deal with the problems created by ‘decades’ 🤣 of ‘unregulated’ migration (that's code for unwelcome vermin — again, I'm rewriting history — Howard's actions were solely designed to win an election. I'm using the EU as Howard used Pauline ‘Hatred’ Hansen to appear ‘moderate’ by comparison).
The second thing (to cover all reactionary bases) we could do to follow the EU's bad example is to ensure that we conflate concerns over integration, culture and the behaviour of some groups (of course, I would never include white christians but) with racism. So …
When migrants force (to use extreme but effective examples with trigger words) their school-aged daughters into arranged marriages, bring intercultural violence to Australia, or refuse to abide by the laws of the land (because everyone knows that there are no bad christians or other white people), we can choose to condemn not their behaviour 🤣 but instead to call the people who denounce it racist (like we denounce those who complain about injustice — we shift blame to their difference but never to their religion).
As has been pointed out in the US Supreme Court decision Alexander v south Caronlina NAACP it's worse to call a racist a racist than to be a racist.
OK, so this is totally disingenuous as I leave out the second asylum seeker arrival that saw Howard and his ministers — cunts like Ruddock and Reith — falsely claim that those Iraqis had thrown their children into the sea in order to blackmail their way into Australia — even producing photographs of an unrelated incident as false proof. I just deliberately and dishonestly leave that out. Mea culpa, non realiter. 😂
But, like, whatevva! Things are so bad because of political correctness that ‘a lot’ (couldn't find any actual stats because there aren't any) of young women afraid to complain when threatended by vile immigrants, lest they be accused of racism! If Australia wants to follow the EU, we can continue to say that calling out such behaviour is racist, until the only way these women can protect themselves is by voting hard-right — in private! 😝
Finally, we can continue to tear down our own culture — western civilization — focusing on how far we are from perfect (my oh-so-clever way of painting over the death and destruction we've been party to) instead of celebrating (just how far from perfect 😂 ) how far we’ve come to create something others yearn for (not mentioning the fact it's based on murder and slavery).
Europe has really delivered a masterclass in this. As tourists marvel at the centuries of art, architecture and culture of Europe, underpinned by stable governance delivered by the democratic institutions, Europeans have been busy learning that there is nothing special about their civilisation. 😱
Developing nations, many of which once enjoyed high civilisation and then lost it for reasons that (usually racist reactionary) historians like Geoffrey Blainey debate (validating racist tropes to deny factual consensus), can only dream of being so rich and replete that the only thing left is to tear themselves down! Australia has a good shot at catching up quickly to Europe. Rending the national flesh is already a popular pastime (so stop pointing out our mistakes — who cares if western success is based on centuries of exploitation slavery and genocide? Do not seek truth about the past). 🙉 🙈 🙊
If Australia really wants, the EU’s hard right turn is ours for the taking! So, it's vote for the C🪨al-ition or be killed and/or raped by dirty immigrants. 👏
