Podcast No π« Mo'
We've spent an inordinate amount of time swanning around the archdiocese listening π§ to podcasts. But, sitting on the grass near the Campbell Parade fence overlooking North Bondi beach (π₯° the aspect) the podcast we're on says there are at least 10 legitimate reasons to stop listening to podcasts β sounds reasonable! π€£
So, and in no particular order, these are reasons to stop listening β¦
- You need particular podcasts at particular times in life but it's not now.
- You and the podcast grow apart and in different directions.
- You over-subscribe to too many of the same kind of podcast.
- Podcasts are great but can become another item on the to-do list.
- Originality is finite so when podcasts get repetitive itβs okay to move on.
- A pandemic deletes your daily commute so there's not enough time.
- The season or story arc ends and it feels like a good place to stop.
- Many podcasts go βexperimentalβ and itβs okay not to go with them.
- You want to try audiobooks with clear scripted narratives not diatribes.
- Cancel all podcasts then make 'em earn back a place in the play list!
